I hope you manage quitting , quitting is good but if you’ve smoked a long time it probably won’t help you …I have no trouble staying quit and I quit one year ago cold turkey and no help from any stop smokng drug but I did have a heart attack and like you I am in my 40s the heart attackwas fine and i’m doing okay in that aspect but I now have emphysema . quitting won’t stop lung cancer or emphysema .I wish you strength and will power to quit .

Hi, Rosey
I am sorry to hear about your condition. I was a smoker for 20 yrs. and was able to quit
I asked God to help me and he did. Because it was a miracle for me to quit because I was a heavy smoker. I’m also have bipolar and I take my meds every day I am doing pretty well
I can just imagine how you feel but just think smoking tends to give cancer of the lungs I have lost a couple of relatives and friends from lung cancer they did not make it.

I don’t smoke anymore although I did smoke on and off for around 10 yrs. your so right it’s hell to stop! this last time took me 2yrs to kick the habit. I’m 42yrs old. I’ve now had a cough for the last 2 weeks and I’m not breathing to good. It don’t feel right.

I wish you lots of strength and pray that you quit. I am so sorry to hear of your breathing problems. You should see a Pulmonologist and have a PFT done to check your lung capacity. I wish you the best and will keep you in my prayers,
